We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Pastoral Mentor to support pupils in overcoming barriers to engagement in education. Working as part of a dedicated team, the successful applicant will provide high quality pastoral support across the academy, creating and implementing appropriate plans and strategies of support for our pupils. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to help build and maintain strong relationships with pupils and their families. Applicants must have the ability to work in partnership with school staff and external agencies. Responsible for pupil support initiatives to help pupils achieve successful outcomes both academically and socially, the successful candidate will also need to be a highly efficient administrator with excellent ICT skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task.

The hours for this vacancy are 32.5 per week/39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 inset/additional days), and are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm.
