We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Pastoral Sixth Form Administrator to provide vital support to our Sixth Form and Pastoral Teams. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines student-facing responsibilities with key administrative tasks.

Based in the Wellbeing Centre on Mondays and Fridays, and the Study Centre from Tuesday to Thursday, you will be the first point of contact for student queries, offering a welcoming and professional service. Alongside this, you will support the smooth running of sixth form admissions, pastoral care, university applications, and student events.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide administrative support to the Sixth Form and Pastoral Teams, including handling student, parent, and staff queries.
  • Assist students with UCAS applications, references, and preparation for university interviews and entrance tests.
  • Coordinate events such as sixth form open days, parental evenings, and higher education activities.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure effective communication across teams.
  • Contribute to wider administrative duties across the school when required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Has strong IT skills, ideally with experience of Microsoft Office 365 and school systems.
  • Brings initiative, professionalism, and a supportive approach to their work.

Experience in a school environment or with higher education processes is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.

In addition to a rewarding and dynamic work environment, we offer an attractive benefits package, including:

  • A competitive pension plan.
  • Free flu vaccinations.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Access to the Blue Light Card, unlocking hundreds of discounts nationwide for just £5.
