What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is trauma informed in their practice and has experience and skills in delivering emotional interventions to a range of needs. The successful candidates will work closely with our children who have experienced trauma.

Therefore, we need them to be positive and warm towards our children. Due to the nature of this role, we also need the candidate to be resilient and use their initiative in delivering emotional support to a range of individuals with differing needs. It would be preferable that the successful candidate has received training in an emotional intervention such as: Drawing and Talking, ELSA or Mindfulness. This is a four day a week post and we are flexible with the days.
