Due to internal changes we are looking for a pastoral support coordinator on a permanent basis to support pupils , staff, teachers, families, agencies and mentors.
Your new role
Reporting into the assistant principal for behaviour and culture, you will work closely with the senior leadership team and five heads of year in building and maintaining a disciplined, yet caring ethos across the school. You will promote and support positive behaviour and high levels of attendance from pupils, and develop and deliver strategies to improve pastoral care to pupils who are at risk of suspension or are experiencing significant issues that are affecting their academics.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be confident in communicating with a range of people including pupils, staff, teachers, families, and agencies where required. You will have experience in motivating pupils and promoting high expectations with pupils as well as using data to analyse performance, track progress, and inform decision making. You will need to have a GCSE Math and English (Grade 4-9) or equivalent.
