What skills and experience we're looking for

Do you have passion for all aspects of school pastoral life and the ability to engage and inspire young people?

Pool Academy offers all students a high quality of pastoral care and now requires a further skilled individual to provide a key position within the school to support the Academy’s pastoral systems.

The role is multifaceted and the post-holder will assist in the support of all students with the focus on the pastoral development and their emotional wellbeing. The ability to communicate with parents and families is a key part of the role.

You will be part of the team responsible for the oversight of behavioural systems, monitoring attendance and liaising with key staff, Pastoral Leads and teaching teams.

You will need a sense of humour, possess excellent communication and ICT skills; have a calm manner and the ability to work accurately and with speed.
