Hasmonean Multi-Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Pastoral Support Officer to join the Boys' Upper School. This is a rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play a vital role in supporting students' personal development, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a safe, inclusive and successful school environment.

Your new role

As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will support the effective pastoral provision across a year group and wider school community, with a particular focus on behaviour, attendance, punctuality, safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting behaviour management and maintaining high standards across the school.
  • Managing the Reflection Room and mentoring students to improve behaviour and engagement.
  • Arranging and supervising after-school detentions and monitoring attendance at behavioural interventions.
  • Assisting with attendance and punctuality monitoring and implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Working closely with Year Leaders, Form Tutors, Student Services and other key colleagues to support students effectively.
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and engagement.
  • Supporting the school's safeguarding responsibilities and contributing to the wider Inclusion Strategy across Behaviour, Attendance, Safeguarding and SEND (BASS).
