The governors of St Anne’s Catholic School seek to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Pastoral Support Worker.

Specifics for this role:

The Pastoral Support Worker plays a key role in supporting student welfare and behaviour across the school, working closely with Heads of Year, the Senior Leadership Team and external agencies. The role involves providing day-to-day pastoral support for students, particularly those who are vulnerable or require targeted intervention, supporting attendance processes, maintaining accurate safeguarding and welfare records, and liaising with families as required. The successful candidate will be calm, compassionate and resilient, able to build trusting relationships with young people, manage challenging situations professionally, and work flexibly as part of a busy pastoral team, always in line with the school’s safeguarding procedures and Catholic ethos.
