Payroll Officer

Faringdon Learning Trust are seeking to appoint a Payroll Officer to process the Trusts payroll and associated paperwork. The post holder will act as single point of contact for our external payroll bureau, pension scheme providers, as well as our internal stake holders on pension and payroll matters.
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for collating, calculating and inputting accurate monthly payroll data into the Edupay/BPS system, processing contract variations, and dealing with pension matters.
We are looking for a candidate with:
Experience of working in a busy HR or Payroll role;
Excellent numeracy skills with confidence to accurately calculate salary information;
Investigative skills to undertake and remedy pension service queries;
Accurate data input skills with high attention to detail;
Experience working with a variety of both external and internal stakeholders;
In addition, you will be highly organised, comfortable working to deadlines and able to prioritise conflicting priorities in your work. Knowledge of Burgundy Book/Green Book terms and conditions for education staff would be desirable, but is not essential.
