At Insignis Academy Trust we are recruiting a PE and Sports Technician for the mainstream provision at The Kingsbrook School. Opened in September 2022 to 180 year 7 students, the school will grow by each year of entry until full in 2027-28, and so new members of the team are required to support our next cohort. Located at the heart of the Kingsbrook Estate in Aylesbury, the school boasts state of the art facilities across the mainstream school and a purpose built Inclusion Unit for children with additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the role:

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspirational PE and Sports Technician with a strong commitment to working with students in an educational setting. As a PE and Sports Technician, you will work under the guidance of the Head of Department and subject teachers to support the teaching and the learning of all children and young people. As a member of our team, you will be passionate about contributing your skills to ensure all our children and young people receive the best possible education.

The successful applicant will:

Have the ability to build and maintain constructive and professional relationships with parents, students, staff, governors and external agencies

Be part of an enthusiastic team and have a flexible approach to working.

A good general level of education, have excellent communication skills and be flexible, adaptable and resourceful.

Have good interpersonal skills, capable of interacting well with students, parents and other staff members.

Have good IT skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and Google.
