PE & Health Technician job summary

We are looking to appoint a technician to support our PE & Health Faculty in delivering excellent teaching and learning. The role includes stock control and monitoring of PE equipment and kits, ensuring appropriate equipment and resources are available for lessons, carrying out or arranging repairs/cleaning of equipment and fixtures, creating and updating displays and assisting with trip organisation and administration.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise and adapt when working under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, understand classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and students.
  • The ability to manage, monitor and maintain accurate stock/equipment records.
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail.
