  • Grade C or above in English and Maths GCSE/GCE or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting sporting activities or coaching in schools, clubs or similar community settings
  • Experience of working with young people
  • Has well-developed ICT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications i.e. Word, Excell, Outlook, Teams etc

PE and School Sports Apprentice (Level 4)

We are currently recruiting for a PE & School Sports Apprentice (Level 4) to join our PE Department.You will assist teachers in delivering PE lessons, lunch and after school activities, fixtures, competitions, clubs and events to raise the profile of PE and school sport. Increase the amount of physical activity pupils participate in and encourage more pupils to be actively engaged in healthy lifestyles.

The working hours are from8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 4:00pm Fridayduring the school term. You will also be paid for an additional37 hoursper year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development outside of your normal working hours. Your actual salary will be£19,500.86per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.If you are interested in working on a part time basis, please get in touch and we are happy to explore this further with you.
