PE Teacher job summary
’I was really impressed by the school when I came for my interview and induction because I felt as though there was a focus on the important things that matter most to students and staff. All the staff have been so supportive but also really honest about the challenges and what they are doing to keep improving the school’ Geography Teacher.
We have the exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced staff in a high quality and well-resourced environment in the role of PE Teacher. We are based in West London/Ealing. This position is to commence in September 2026.
Skills & Experience needed:
- The role of PE Teacher is to help ensure continuous improvement in the quality of teaching and learning
- Applicants must hold a suitable degree and UK recognised teaching qualification (i.e. QTS, PGCE - or achieve this by the start date)
- Effective classroom practitioner with both personal impact and presence with a clear grasp of teaching and learning issues

Alec Reed Academy is a thriving, inclusive all‑through school for pupils aged 3–19, serving the diverse community of Northolt in the London Borough of Ealing. Founded by the late Sir Alec Reed and opened in 2005, the Academy has grown significantly and now educates over 1,600 pupils across Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Post‑16 phases.
