PE Teacher job summary

You will be an experienced or Newly Qualified Teacher of PE who can plan, teach, and assess their specialism from KS3 to KS4, and KS5. The ability to teach across other disciplines would be an advantage for a successful candidate. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils, instilling in them a love of PE and healthy pursuits. You will be keen to engage in the wide range of extra-curricular activities offered within the department and across the wider school community. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils.

You will need to exhibit a passion for PE and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom and beyond. You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school and sustaining our commitment to providing opportunities for all pupils to progress and excel.
