PE Technician
Location: Challney High School for Boys
Contract Type: Permanent, Term time only plus training days
Hours of work: 37 hours per week (8:00am to 4:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch)
Salary: L2 - £13.05 per hour - Actual salary £21,795 per annum

Over view of the job
To support the PE staff in the day-to-day running of the department. This includes assisting in the set up of lessons, attending some fixtures or events, ensuring equipment is safe and supporting small groups of learners with targeted lessons.
Purpose of the post
To ensure the provision of a high quality service to support the delivery of the PE curriculum.
The successful candidate must be a team player, self-motivated, have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to motivate young people.

Full training, support and induction will be provided.
