People Services Administrator job summary

The People Services Administrator will be the first point of contact in our dynamic Shared Services Team for staff, headteachers and all external enquiries to the Trust. The post-holder will work closely with the Director of People & Culture to ensure an effective and efficient administrative, governance and HR service for and behalf of the Trust and the Shared Services Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for staff and external enquiries.
  • Provide admin support to the Shared Services Team and senior leaders.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare papers, take minutes, and manage diaries.
  • Maintain Trust systems, website, and policy documentation.
  • Support travel, event, and training bookings.

Governance Support

  • Assist with organising Trust Board and LGB meetings and documentation.
  • Maintain Governor Hub, declarations, and attendance records.
  • Support induction and training tracking for Trustees and governors.

Junior HR Support

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and compliance checks.
  • Maintain HR records and monitor absences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in operations, estates, or HR within education or similar sectors
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations
  • Commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement

Location

Based at Shared Services Team Offices, with occasional travel to schools/ events
