Peripatetic Guitar Teacher job summary
This is a casual contract until 31 August 2027, with an anticipated requirement of approximately 7 hours per week, subject to operational needs.
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Peripatetic Guitar Teacher to join our school on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to help young people develop their musical skills, confidence and enjoyment of music through engaging and inclusive guitar tuition.
The role currently offers approximately seven hours per week and would suit an experienced musician who enjoys working with students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds. You will deliver high-quality individual and small group lessons, supporting students to make progress, build confidence and achieve their personal goals.
As part of our wider music provision, you will encourage participation in performances, enrichment opportunities and, where appropriate, graded examinations. Most importantly, you will help foster a positive and supportive learning environment where students can develop a lifelong enjoyment of music and fulfil their potential.
