What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an outstanding Woodwind Teacher who is able to inspire and develop students from beginner to advanced level. The successful candidate should have experience teaching one or more woodwind instruments and be able to support students in developing their technical skills, musical understanding, confidence and performance abilities.
The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching students from Year 7 to Year 13 and be interested in developing the role of woodwind within the wider Music Department.
The post holder will also be expected to lead the school’s Wind Ensemble, supporting students to develop their ensemble skills and musical confidence and providing opportunities for students to perform both within and beyond the school.
