What the school offers its staff
Abbotswood Junior School, the largest junior school in Hampshire with over 600 children (5/6 form entry), is looking for a KS2 Teacher from September 2024/January 2025. Abbotswood is ideally situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest and within close proximity of the bustling city of Southampton.
We are a ‘happy school with so much on offer and pupils love school life’ (Ofsted 2023). With large fields, open spaces and a purpose-built sports hall, we have a pleasant environment in which to work and we also have a very cute school dog - Tommy!
Leaders also recognise the hard work of its staff and everyone receives a ‘Thank You’ day to be taken at any time during the school year!
