Flying High Partnership is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Personal Assistant to the Director of Education to join our central team. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to directly influence the quality of education across our partnership of 35 primary schools.

The Role

As the Personal Assistant to the Director of Education, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to enable the Director to operate effectively and strategically across our partnership of schools. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a trusted assistant to the Director, handling confidential information and supporting strategic priorities.
  • Managing schedules and communications to ensure the Director is well-prepared and focused.
  • Preparing documents, organising travel, processing expenses, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinating meetings and events, ensuring all arrangements and follow-ups are handled efficiently.
  • Communicating on behalf of the Director of Education with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and clarity.

This is an office-based role, with travel to schools across the partnership as directed by the Director of Education.

  • Has experience operating at an executive level, ideally within an educational or public sector setting.
  • Is a skilled communicator with strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Is proficient in using a wide range of IT systems to support efficiency and accuracy.
  • Pays exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Can effectively prioritise and manage their workload independently.
