Hours of work: 39 weeks per year term-time only plus 5 days

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to the Principal to join the fantastic team at Sharnbrook Academy. Following our very successful recent inspection, this is an incredibly exciting time at Sharnbrook. In September, a newly appointed Principal will lead the school through its next phase of development and the role of the Personal Assistant will be integral to ensuring that they, along with the wider academy team, are well supported to do so.

We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, an eye for detail, high professional standards and the ability to manage competing demands. Sufficient background experience to understand the nature of the work in schools is essential. Applicants who feel passionately about the importance of education, have strong organisational skills and the ability to understand and enact systems are highly encouraged to apply.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who possesses strong administration and communication skills to support our Principal. Have a good educational background, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

Strong administration skills, including solution-based outlook on how to resolve tasks.

Ability to proactively contribute to multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.

Be able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Be a team player, with a ‘can do’, solution focused, attitude.
