About the role:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school, working closely with a new Principal who is passionate about driving the school forward. These are exciting times for both the Trust and the school, and we are looking for someone who wants to play a key role in supporting that journey.
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Principal within our secondary academy. This is a pivotal role within the school, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Principal’s office and contributing to the effective leadership of the school.
You will act as the first point of contact for the Principal, managing competing priorities, coordinating complex diaries, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality administrative support. The role requires a flexible and proactive approach, including taking minutes at SLT and other key meetings.
You will work collaboratively and support the wider administrative functions of the school, ensuring the efficient management of day-to-day operations. You will provide cover for other administrative roles as required to ensure continuity of service across the Academy. You will also work collaboratively as part of a friendly and high-performing team.
Confidentiality is essential in this role, along with tact, discretion, and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive information and a range of stakeholders.
Strong IT skills, excellent minute-taking ability, and a positive, proactive attitude are essential. We are looking for someone who is approachable, solutions-focused, and keen to contribute to a supportive school environment.
