What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Personal Care and Teaching Assistant to join our established learning support team. Experience in working with students with a wide range of SEND and a desire to work with young people in supporting their welfare and wellbeing is essential.


What the school offers its staff

The Learning Support department at Colonel Frank Seely Academy is managed by the SENDCo with support from a team of Teaching Assistants who are supportive, caring and passionate. We are looking to appoint a Personal Care and Teaching Assistant to further enrich the team. We are looking for someone who is kind, dedicated and hard working from any educational background and any key stage that wishes to progress to a secondary environment within SEND. There is a pathway for progression within this role and CPD to support within it. The role is primarily to facilitate greater inclusion and remove barriers for students with identified or moving towards being identified as requiring SEN support.
