Grade 6 – Personal Development Mentor - Fixed Term 1 year
32.5 hours per week term time only + 5 training days (195 days)

Euler Academy is a special school for children with complex SEMH needs aged 5-11 in a purpose-built site on Salthouse Road, Hull. Euler responds to the individual needs of pupils, assisting them to build strategies to overcome the barriers to their learning and behaviour.
We are looking to recruit an experienced, adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual to work in our Ofsted rated Outstanding school. You will take a lead role to address the social, emotional and mental health needs of the pupils through a delivery of interventions around behaviour, personal safety, hygiene and friendships.
You will have:
Experience of working with children across the primary age range
Experience of working with vulnerable children and supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
A good understanding of Behaviour Management methods including the role of the facilitator
A secure knowledge of emotional and social issues which may impact on a child’s learning
Emotional resilience when working in a range of challenging situations, including challenging behavior's and attitudes to the use of authority and maintain discipline
