What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated Phase Leader to join our school community from September 2026.
This is a class-based leadership role, with responsibility for either EYFS or Key part of Stage 2, and includes dedicated leadership time to support the effective leadership of the phase.
We are looking for a leader who:
- Is a consistently good or outstanding classroom practitioner with recent, relevant experience in EYFS or KS2
- Has a secure knowledge of the curriculum, including assessment, monitoring and progression within the phase
- Has a passion and determination to ensure all children achieve, and where possible exceed, their potential
- Has high expectations of attainment, behaviour and wellbeing
- Is able to lead, support, inspire and motivate colleagues, working collaboratively as part of a hard working and dedicated team
- Is resilient, flexible and proactive, with a positive approach to problem-solving and change
- Is committed to continuous professional development for themselves and others
- Has the drive to strive for continual improvement and contribute effectively to whole-school development
