What skills and experience we're looking for
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a designated class.
- Review and develop long-term planning to ensure strong curriculum coverage, progression
and a broad range of engaging learning experiences across the phase.
- Lead and support colleagues in planning, teaching and evaluating learning that inspires and
motivates children.
- Promote and maintain high standards across all areas of the curriculum.
- Work closely with staff and other professionals to maximise their contribution to teaching and
learning within the phase.
- Ensure planning, assessment, target setting, recording and reporting systems are
implemented in line with academy policy.
- Manage classes effectively, using approaches that meet pupils’ needs and inspire, motivate
and challenge learners.
