Playleader job summary
Windmill L.E.A.D. Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. This role is vital in supporting our pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, happy, and inclusive environment both in the dining hall and on the playground.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and around the school site during lunchtime
- Encouraging positive behaviour and play, helping pupils to develop social skills
- Promoting the school’s values and safeguarding the welfare of all pupils
- Assisting with minor first aid (training provided)
- Ensuring the lunchtime period runs smoothly and safely
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and is approachable, patient, and kind
- Has good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Is reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the school community
- Will promote inclusion and respect across all groups of pupils
