• Working pattern: Part time: 16 hours per week, 5 days per week. 3 pm to 6 pm x 3 days, and 2.30 pm to 6 pm x 2 days per week
• Contract type: Fixed term - One year
• Full-time equivalent salary: £30,654 - £32,907
• Actual salary: £11,774 – 12,639
• Pay scale: Grade 4

What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidates will:

· NVQ Level 2 playworker, childcare, or equivalent or willing to undergo training.

· Knowledge of appropriate play activities e.g. crafts, sports and games

· A basic awareness of health and safety practices

. Organise and plan games and sports

. Supervise children and give out refreshments and food.

. Deal with injuries and emergencies

· Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations.

· Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils.

· Have excellent communication skills

· Work well as part of a team
