Our school aims are to aspire to be the best we can, inspire all our children and motivate them to learn through an outstanding curriculum and be as successful as they can.
Ofsted recognised the exceptional work of the school and it was rated Outstanding in all areas in the 2013 inspection.
Although children’s academic achievements are very important we develop a range of other skills to ensure all pupils reach their potential. Many children are learning to play a musical instrument and every child takes part in school concerts. We encourage children to cycle and have gained the bronze ‘Bike It’ Award. The vast majority of children take part in the many extra curricula activities and are rewarded with Children’s University credits. Several children have already received their gold award (over 100 hours of extra-curricular activities) from the Children’s University Programme with several continuing to earn hours towards a diploma. Children thoroughly enjoy the many sporting activities on offer and take part in a range of competitive sports.
