NJC Scales 4-5, Points 7-12

£22,978 to £24,675 per annum (Actual Salary)

£30,288 to £32,525 per annum (FTE Salary)

Monday to Friday, 32.5 hrs per week /Term time only (38 weeks) per annum

Queensmead is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed school. We have a reputation for teaching excellence, which leads to exceptional outcomes for our students at both GCSE and A level. We invest heavily in our staff and we are very proud of their success.

Queensmead is looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual. The successful candidate will supervise and support independent study for our Post 16 students in our Post 16 study area.

They will inspire, challenge and motivate students and ensure a healthy, safe, happy and challenging environment in which Post 16 students can work hard and achieve their potential.

The post holder will work closely with subject teachers and the Heads of Post 16 Education to maximise the effectiveness of the students’ private study sessions.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 3.15pm, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break
