The Batt School, St Mary’s Infants, Witney and The Oxford Diocesan Schools’ Trust (ODST) are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and preventing extremism; all staff must ensure that the highest priority is given to following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and obtain any other statutorily required clearance. Employment will also be conditional on the receipt of at least two acceptable references (1 from current/latest employer) and evidence of the formal qualifications required for the role. Online searches will be undertaken at shortlisting stage.

The Batt School and St Mary’s Infant School, Witney are seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Teacher to provide PPA cover across our four Upper Key Stage 2 classes until the end of the academic year. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and committed practitioner to join our friendly, experienced team and make a positive impact on pupils’ learning.

We are looking for a caring, adaptable and motivated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will bring an inspirational approach to the classroom, maintaining high expectations for all pupils while creating a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment.

This role will suit a teacher who enjoys variety and flexibility, works well as part of a team and is confident teaching across Upper Key Stage 2. You will work closely with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning and consistency in approach, contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
