What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role is primarily to provide PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover across various year groups, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning in line with our school’s ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across different subjects and year groups.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils’ progress and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach.
  • Passion for education and supporting pupil achievement.

Contract Information:

This is a fixed-term position due to current budgetary planning and uncertainty around future funding. We are committed to reviewing staffing needs annually and will keep the successful candidate informed of any developments regarding future opportunities.
