PPA Cover Teacher Part time until 31-08-2026 job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated Teacher who is capable of integrating swiftly and successfully into our hard working, experienced and successful team at Austrey Primary School and Newton Regis Primary School. The successful applicant will work part time 0.7, one week 3 days and the following week 4 days. Both schools are within a mile from each other.

This position is appropriate for Main Scale M3 to M6 but NOT suitable for ECTs.

Confident and flexible in working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of different age groups.

Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong communication skills to work effectively with class teachers and support staff.

Passionate about specific curriculum areas and be able to drive whole school improvement through dedicated subject leadership.

Professional and approachable in building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Organised and reliable, able to maintain consistency and continuity of learning during teacher PPA cover.

Willing to contribute positively to the wider life and community of the school.
