- Ability to make learning engaging and fun
- Adaptability to meet different learning styles and needs
- Basic knowledge of child development (ages 5–7)
- Organisation and time management skills
- Teamwork and collaboration with other teachers and staff
- Assessment and observation skills to track pupil progress
- Problem-solving skills for handling classroom challenges
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for teaching
- Ability to build relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
- Basic literacy and numeracy teaching skills (phonics, reading, writing, maths)
- Safeguarding awareness and responsibility

About the role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team, to cover PPA, Leadership cover and small group interventions.
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Inspire and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential
Build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and families
Contribute positively to our supportive school community
