At Clifton All Saints Academy we are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, caring and experienced EYFS Teacher to lead our pre-school provision and create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive. We are seeking an appointment for January 2027 or sooner. You will lead and work as part of a dedicated team and be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education, supporting children's development and wellbeing, and building strong relationships with our families and wider community.

As Pre-school Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and developing our preschool EYFS curriculum, ensuring that learning opportunities are engaging, inclusive and tailored to meet the needs of all children. You will lead by example, championing excellent teaching and learning, promoting high standards of care and safeguarding, and fostering a positive and welcoming environment for children, families and staff.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced candidate who can work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to ensure a smooth transition into our Reception class, helping children to develop the confidence, independence and skills they need for future primary school learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to providing the very best start in primary education and who is keen to contribute to the continued success and development of our EYFS provision.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to further develop our wonderful pre-school setting which has recently been fully refurbished and has a well resourced and spacious environment both indoors and outdoors based on guidance from Early Excellence with opportunities for further investment.

This post will involve leading the Pre-school including planning and preparation throughout the week. It involves creating a fun, nurturing, stimulating and safe environment for the children that meets individual’s needs; preparing and resourcing activities and provision linked to the EYFS curriculum; assessing children’s progress and determining next steps in their learning and working collaboratively with other members of our EYFS team as well as parents and carers. The candidate would be proficient in identifying early SEND needs and work with the school SEND team on supporting these. This would require the lead to have an understanding and experience of working with wider agencies involved in EYFS education.

Have the ability to ensure that all Ofsted regulatory and legal requirements are met

Have experience in increasing admissions, marketing and operational matters

The ability to ensure policies and procedures are implemented at all times and contribute to their development
