Premises Area Manager job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Premises Professional to support three of our Trust Schools. The successful candidate will have responsibility for All Saints Primary School in Wigston, Blaby Stokes Primary School and Red Hill Field Primary School in Narborough.
We’re passionate about creating schools where pupils and colleagues are safe, inspired and can thrive. As a Premises Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for facilities' maintenance and development, health and safety, and functionality across these three schools. The successful applicant will work closely with school leadership teams to support their operational needs and will be responsible for effectively managing contractors and budgets.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Supporting both operational and strategic premise initiatives
- Leading health, safety and compliance across schools
- Working with other Premise Area Managers across the Trust to continually drive innovation and efficiencies
- Developing a 5-year investment plan to deliver continuous improvement to buildings and grounds.
- Work with contractors and suppliers to deliver what is needed to maintain our schools whilst achieving value for money.
- A strong interest in premises and grounds improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in budget management and premises development projects
- Previous experience in premises management.
- Ability to undertake basic maintenance needs
- A full driving license will be essential due to the need to travel between school sites.
