🛠️ Join Our Team as a Flexible and Enthusiastic Premises Assistant!
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Premises Assistant to work alongside our experienced Site manager and help keep our school running smoothly. If you enjoy hands-on work, have a good eye for maintenance, and like being part of a friendly, supportive team — this could be the perfect role for you!
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with maintenance, cleaning, health and safety, and security around the school
- Helping with general site duties, including some manual handling (with equipment provided)
- Tackling small decorating jobs and keeping our school looking its best
- Acting as a key holder, which means occasional out-of-hours work (with pay)
- Working closely with the premises team to ensure the site is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained
👷♂️ What We’re Looking For:
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
- Previous experience in school facilities management is a bonus but not essential
- Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks safely using the correct equipment

Beaumont Primary Academy opened in September 2016 and will be up to Year 4 in September 2020. When it reaches capacity, it will be a 650 place 2-11 academy and is situated in the grounds of Moor End Academy in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield and near to the award winning Beaumont Park. In September, numbers are expected to be approximately 360. As part of South Pennine Academies, Beaumont Primary Academy is well supported by a successful Trust team led by the CEO, Jane Acklam OBE.
