We have a vacancy for a Premises Cleaner and we are looking for reliable and committed individuals to work within our existing teams. You must be approachable, professional, flexible and reliable and be a highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude and be able to work as part of a team as well as working alone.If you would like to be part of this dynamic team and have the attributes that we seek we would love to hear from you.

The role:

  • Location: St Giles Academy, Lincoln

  • Contract: Permanent, 16 hours per week, (52 weeks a year)

  • Salary Scale: Scale 1, point 3 (£24,796 FTE)

  • Pro Rata Salary: £10,722

  • Closing Date:Midday 10th July 2026

  • Interviews will be held: 15th July 2026

  • Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain High Standards: Use professional domestic and industrial equipment to clean floors, windows, and work surfaces to a specified quality.

  • Ensure Safety & Hygiene: Replenish essential supplies and strictly follow Health and Safety requirements to protect our school community.

  • Care for our Site: Perform routine equipment checks, manage waste removal, and report any maintenance issues or vandalism promptly.

  • Support our Pupils: Monitor student conduct and intervene when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors and staff.
