Premises Maintenance Assistant

Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a permanent, part-time Premises Maintenance Assistant based at Corsham Primary School.

Hours:

25 hours per week, 7.00am to 11.00am plus 6.00pm to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday

Salary range:

C2-C4 £24,413 - £25,185 pro rata per annum, actual salary £16,495 - £17,017 per annum

Start date: as soon as possible

In line with Trust development and growth this role may change in the future to encompass other schools within the North Wiltshire Hub (Aloeric Melksham, Queens Crescent and Ivy Lane Chippenham and Corsham Broadwood)

Our school

Corsham Primary School is located in the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Corsham, near Bath, and is arranged over two sites located at either side of the town. Pound Pill site offers 14 classes and the Broadwood site houses 10 classes, both supporting children from Reception to Year 6. Role overview:

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a part-time Premises Maintenance Assistant to provide a high-quality service to Corsham Primary School.

Duties will include:

General building and site maintenance

Participation in Health and Safety inspections and checks to ensure compliance

General caretaking duties

Maintaining the security of the school buildings and forming part of the Emergency response team for the school if required.

Unlocking and locking the school on a daily basis

Good practical skills are essential, and previous experience of building maintenance is desirable.

Tools and uniform will be provided.
