Frome College have an exciting opportunity for a Premises Maintenance Technician to join our Site Team. The perfect candidate will have an active role in performing maintenance and repairs throughout the College premises, guaranteeing that our facilities are kept in excellent condition. Applicants must possess a current, clean UK Driving Licence.
Working hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday - Thursday and 8:00am – 3:30pm on Fridays. Occasionally these hours will vary depending on college requirements e.g. Exam periods, parents’ evenings.
The successful candidate will:
- Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests as required or directed.
- Adopt a hands-on approach to repair, maintenance and major internal improvements to the college where appropriate.
- Liaise with contractors and other workers.
- Carry out risk assessments for relevant duties.
- Comply and promote good health and safety procedures.
