What skills and experience we're looking for

Spring Lane School are seeking a dynamic and dependable Site Manager who will manage the school premises in order to ensure a high standard of maintenance and cleanliness, whilst ensuring a safe learning environment for our students and staff in line with statutory regulations. Leading the Site Team of caretakers and cleaners, you will be responsible for the whole school sites which includes four small, separate buildings. You will manage the daily operational activity of the site team to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and cost effectively with incidents being dealt with professionally and in a timely manner.

In conjunction and collaboration with the School Business Manager, you will ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and codes of practice, whilst contributing to the school’s strategic premises plans. A key aspect of this position is an understanding that teaching and learning needs and safety of students & staff are our priority.

The successful candidate will have:

Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

Experience of successful facilities management

Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines.

Have a high level of initiative and the ability to work collaboratively
