Premises Officer job summary

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Premises Officer to help ensure our school provides a safe, secure, clean and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Working closely with the Estates Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school site, including site security, maintenance, health and safety compliance, grounds care, contractor management, and responding to premises-related issues.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of practical maintenance and repair tasks, support statutory compliance checks, assist with the management of contractors and lettings, and help ensure that all buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You will play a vital role in safeguarding the school environment, supporting emergency responses when required, and contributing to the smooth running of the school.
