What skills and experience we're looking for

The staff, governors and children of this friendly village school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and motivated Premises Officer. You will be responsible for the supervision of the site, the maintenance and security of the building and also be responsible for maintaining risk assessments relating to the school premises and grounds.

You will be responsible for providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all school users and comply with current legislation and health and safety requirements.

The successful candidate will:

- Report to the Head Teacher

- Be able to plan and organise their own work load

- Be responsible for leading and managing the school cleaner

- Be an effective team player
