What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for enthusiastic and approachable premises officer to support the management and development of the academy site and to undertake operational responsibility for the maintenance, security, health and safety and general administration of the Academy site, grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate would work under the general direction of the Site Manager and will have the ability to work as part of a team as well as using their own initiative. First Aid qualification or willingness to become first aid trained and full driving license and willingness to drive School Pool car is required.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
This post will involve contact with vulnerable groups (children, young people and/or adults) and is therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This exemption means that shortlisted applicants for this post will be required to declare all criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands, and bind- overs both spent and unspent in their application, before interview and regardless of the passage of time.
