What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and positive Preschool Assistantto work with children with additional needs to ensure they have an inclusive and purposeful education alongside their peers.
Experience of working with children, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative are essential.
You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills and be able to communicate effectively with children and adults. A good sense of humour and a friendly, approachable manner would suit this role well.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with individual children having special or particular needs, and groups of children. The candidate would also be Level 3 EYFS qualified.

Jewell Academy Bournemouth opened in September 2013 as a brand-new school, serving the Townsend area of Bournemouth and operating as part of the growing Aspirations Academies Trust.
