What skills and experience we're looking for

The Baird Primary Academy have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outstanding teacher to teach in Key Stage 1 and lead mathematics across the school. The successful candidate will have sound understanding of the primary curriculum and a passion for primary mathematics. They will work closely with the Sussex Maths Hub, to develop mathematics across the academy, demonstrating strong leadership skills.

We are seeking someone who:

  • is capable of working with children in an enthusiastic and positive manner
  • has a strong desire to make a difference in a school with high levels of deprivation and SEND
  • maintains high standards of learning and pupil progress
  • is punctual and reliable
  • has the desire to encourage every child to succeed
