What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team on a 1-year maternity cover contract. This is a great opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community where staff and pupils thrive.
The role would suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience and develop their practice in a collaborative environment, or an experienced teacher seeking a rewarding short-term position.
The successful candidate will:
- Inspire and engage pupils through high-quality teaching and learning
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills

With just over 200 children on roll and their own pre-school unit on site, they cater for children from 2 to 11 years of age and are fortunate to be able to offer smaller classes than your average primary school.
