Primary Classroom Teacher job summary

Class Teacher MPS 1-6 depending on experience Maternity Cover for 1 year Start Date: 1st September 2021 0.48 FTE – EYFS or KS1 (Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays and Fridays) We are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to work at Castle Primary School. As we value learning, we are committed to the post being for the full academic year to ensure consistency in children’s learning. As we grow towards a 14-class school there are likely to be further opportunities available in Spring 2022 beyond the end of the contracts. We are seeking enthusiastic, calm, consistent and committed teachers, who are passionate about both the children’s and their own learning and development. A commitment to learning both within and outside of the classroom (including extra-curricular opportunities) is essential, as is the ability to fully support our school values and vision. Our children thrive with adults who are friendly, firm and fair. A strength in one or more of the following would be an advantageous to the school’s continued improvement journey: MFL, sports, forest school, playing an instrument in assemblies.
