Primary Classroom Teacher job summary
The Howard School are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Classroom Teacher, with a proven track record of accelerating pupil progress and raising standards in reading and comprehension.
In this pivotal role, you will apply your specialist primary expertise to help bridge learning gaps for students arriving to secondary school working below age-related expectations. Working closely with our curriculum and support teams, you will design and deliver targeted interventions that strengthen core literacy and plug critical numeracy gaps, empowering students to build confidence, catch up with their peers, and thrive across the wider curriculum. If you are passionate about transformative teaching and making an immediate, lasting impact on student outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
This is a full time, fixed term role, paid on the STPC Main/Upper Pay Scale, dependant on experience.
This role is fixed term until July 2027, due to the mainstream inclusive funding.
