What skills and experience we're looking for

Offering an exciting opportunity for career development / progression, we are seeking to appoint to a new additional responsibility role as Primary Maths Specialist. Working closely with the Director of Maths and the talented team of staff within the Maths Department, the successful candidate will take the lead role in relation to the following additional responsibilities:

o Supporting the department in embedding White Rose Maths across Key Stage 3 (KS3). This will include the planning and delivery of training across the team, and offering support for teaching and learning with this focus.

o Supporting the Maths team in ensuring a smooth transition for learners from year 6 into year 7, drawing on Primary expertise to develop our curriculum and practice.

o Supporting students with SEND, and supporting the Maths team to develop our existing provision.
