The role will therefore entail working as part of a team of teachers and support staff, delivering a range of learning opportunities, based primarily in KS1 or lower KS2.You will need to cover class teachers to enable them to work intensively with groups of children or in the delivery of our English Hub programme of support to other schools. A good level of understanding and proven experience of teaching Phonics through a ReadWrite Inc scheme would be desirable, so we can ensure that the reading programme is delivered.

Successful candidates will be provided with state-of-the-art IT equipment and will work in modern, digitally enabled classrooms where children have access to 1:1toa Microsoft Surface device. To enable teachers to become the best they can be,we support them with a weekly with an investment in their professional development through training and there is a good performance management process, where accelerated progress is payable to those who achieve highly. For NQT’s we provide a weekly programme with specialist support from an NQT programme leader, a mentor and with inputs delivered by experienced teachers.
Further details about the role
We want our teachers to embrace the ethos of teaching a knowledge rich, purposeful, and project-based curriculum, through the meaningful use of technology. To be successful, you must demonstrate that you are willing to teach innovatively and reflectively, as well being prepared to collaborate with teams of colleagues. You must also be open to delivering high quality lessons and projects in a way that blends physical and digital learning environments, through video calling and online resources. The successful candidate will be keen to support and build on the international reputation that the school has for digitally integrated teaching.
